Bill Heumann began as a shop assistant at Fisher-Klosterman, steadily advancing through the company.
He acquired full ownership of Fisher-Klosterman in 1987.
FKl – Buell
FKI acquired ownership of Mechanical Collector Group from Marsulex.

FKl/Buell sold to CecoEnvironmental.

Heumann Environmental was founded in 2012 under the leadership of CEO Bill Heumann, an industry veteran and published authority in air pollution control. His vision was to create a company focused on solving the industry’s toughest particle and gas separation challenges with precision engineering and deep technical insight.
Over the years, our team has grown into a trusted partner for both air pollution control and custom fabrication solutions. With decades of combined experience, we support clients with everything from nuisance dust collection and catalyst recovery to fabricating components that keep operations running smoothly.
In 2024, we became an employee-owned and operated business, reinforcing our commitment to shared success and long-term client partnerships. But our mission remains the same: to deliver reliable, high-performance solutions that help make industrial processes cleaner, safer, and more efficient.

Skilled Craftsmanship & Precision Engineering
At Heumann Environmental, our engineers and technicians specialize in building high-efficiency air pollution control equipment. Every system is manufactured to exact specifications to ensure optimal airflow, performance, and long-term reliability.
But our capabilities go far beyond separation systems. As a local metal fabrication shop, we offer precision cutting, welding, forming, and custom fabrication services. We produce critical components—like railings, bar screens, stairs, and replacement parts—that support the function of larger systems.
We fabricate for our own equipment and for a wide range of applications in manufacturing, transportation infrastructure, and wastewater treatment.
Based in Jeffersonville, Indiana, our ASME-certified shop delivers turnkey project design and manufacturing nationwide. Every weld, cut, and polish reflects the pride our team brings to the work.
